Wildlife and Woodland Conservation Skills

Dates: Fridays- 17th January until 21st March (inclusive)
Time: 9.30am – 3.30pm
Location: Newbattle Abbey College Refreshments and lunch are included.

Join us for our Wildlife and Woodland Conservation Skills programme to gain hands-on experience in conserving natural habitats while working towards an SCQF Level 5 accredited award.

Individuals will learn species identification, woodland management, woodcraft, habitat creation, wildlife monitoring, medicinal properties of plants and participate in nature conservation initiatives.

This course is suitable for participants living in Midlothian aged between 16  and 24, who are facing barriers to employment.
