Title: Catering Assistant 

Description:

As a Catering Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting with food preparation, ensuring food safety, and providing excellent hospitality to our students, staff and visitors to the College.

Main Duties

• Cleaning of the kitchen, dining room and all food outlets, pre and post service
• Provide high quality customer care and service at all times
• Service of food and beverage
• Recording of cash and card sales
• Preparation of packed lunches, salads and vegetable preparation
•  Preparation and delivery of food and beverage items to corporate suites in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in the hospitality ,catering or college industry is preferred
• Knowledge of food safety practices and procedure
• Awareness of dietary requirements and recognition of allergies
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive attitude
• Excellent customer service

Terms: 25 hours per week. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Remuneration: £17,733

Reporting to: Catering Manager
