Strategic Framework 2026-2031

Our Strategic Framework sets out our vision and priorities for the next five years, from the start of Academic Year 2026–27 to the end of Academic Year 2030–31.

It describes what we do, how we work and what we aim to achieve to ensure that Newbattle Abbey College continues to thrive and deliver a positive impact. Grounded in our purpose and values, the Framework guides our decisions and shapes our priorities for the future.

Our Strategic Aims

Our Framework sets out five strategic aims to guide our work through to 2026–2031.

  1. Newbattle Abbey College will continue to be a vibrant and forward-thinking place where people thrive.
  2. Our innovative and distinctive curriculum will drive student success and positive progression.
  3. Our financial performance will ensure stability and enable us to invest in the future.
  4. We will continue to protect and enhance our historic and beautiful estate, recognising its importance to the College and its future.
  5. We will work in partnership with Newbattle Abbey College Trust Ltd towards our common goals.
