For almost 90 years, Newbattle Abbey College has provided life-changing educational opportunities to people who may not have followed traditional routes into learning.
Based in a historic 12th century estate in Midlothian, we are a specialist further education college with a mission to widen access to education and support learners to achieve their potential.
Every year, students join Newbattle from a wide range of backgrounds. Many have experienced barriers to learning, while others are seeking a fresh start, a new direction, or the confidence to take their next step. Through a supportive learning environment, strong relationships and a vibrant college community, we help students build skills, confidence and aspirations for the future.
