Newbattle Abbey College is Scotland’s only specialist residential College offering tailored 1-1 wellbeing support. It has been operating since 1937, set within a historic venue dating back to the 12th century. Our mission is to change lives through the delivery of transformative learning opportunities for all students. We provide access to further and higher education to returning adults and young people, with a welcoming and supportive community.
The College plays a unique role in Scotland’s education landscape. We provide accessible routes into, and back into, further and higher education, supporting learners whose circumstances, confidence, or life experiences may require a different approach.
